Police to exhibit pictures of suspected rioters, related to Adib’s death

KUALA LUMPUR: Pictures of individuals who believed to beat the site of Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in USJ 25, Subang Jaya, on the night of a riot last year will be displayed again by the police.

According to Bukit Aman CID director Datuk Huzir Mohamed, efforts to identify them were being carried out by Selangor police contingent and Bukit Aman.

“These individuals are believed to be able to assist the investigation into the death of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim,” he said.

The cause of Adib’s death is reportedly due to criminal acts by two or more unidentified individuals, according to Coroner Rofiah Mohamad.

Adib who is a member of the Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) of the Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Station,was seriously injured in a riot at the temple on Nov 27 last year.

On Dec 17, he died 21 days after the incident at the National Heart Institute.
