RANTAU: Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, Barisan Nasional’s (BN)
candidate for the Rantau state seat by-election, commented that he has no
problems on going about declaring his assets.
He commented on this as a response from the recent proposal by PKR’s secretary general, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
Saifuddin claimed that the state’s Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, had declared his assets with Invoke Malaysia – as opposed to Mohamad, who has not, during a Pakatan Harapan (PH) ceramah at Bandar Ekar last night. Mohamad said that he had been regularly declaring his assets since the BN administration.
He said that while he was still the menteri besar, he declared his assets every term, without fail and challenged those to check his records with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and also the state’s secretary office.
