Elderly woman hacked, grandson critically wounded

SHAH ALAM – An elderly woman was slashed to death after a group of five masked men entered her home in Kampung Tebuk Pulai early today.

P. Runkanaikey, 78, was killed on the spot while her grandson, 22, was severely wounded and was rushed to the hospital sustaining multiple injuries.

The police responsed to a call from P. Runkanaikey’s neighbor following the trespassing. According to Sabak Bernam district deputy police chief DSP Lim Chee Khoon the suspects fled the scene in a grey Toyota Vios. Investigation is ongoing to identify the suspect and their motives.
