Hundreds of Muslims protesters rally against China’streatment of Uighurs

KUALA LUMPUR – Hundreds of Muslims from various groups in Jalan Ampang rallied against China’s alleged abuse and treatment of ethnic Uighurs at the Xinjiang province in China.

Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia and is but Tahrir led the protest against China’s internment camps coined as re-education and normalisation of their Muslim brothers and sisters in China.

However, upon reaching the Republic of China embassy, both were denied entry and their respective memorandums were rejected.

The Xinjiang re-education camps are internment camps that have been operated by the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional government for the purpose of indoctrinating Uyghur Muslims as part of a “people’s war on terror” announced in 2014.
