Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been invited to an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The letter was received from Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Zayed Al Nahyan who was handed over to him by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Palace (Sheikh Hamed Zayed Al Nahyan), who paid courtesy to Dr Mahathir at his office in Perdana Putra here today.
The meeting also discussed bilateral relations issues.
Istana Mahkota Mahkota Abu Dhabi is an independent body granted full status under the law as a government body. It was founded in 1976 to provide support to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
It is chaired by a manager of the castle representing the palace on official visits, events as well as historic occasions and as a representative in relation to local and foreign princes and dignitaries at the Crown Prince’s Palace.
Also present at the meeting were Attorney-General Tommy Thomas and UAE Ambassador to Malaysia Khalid Al Ghaith.
