SEREMBAN : Barisan Nasional candidate for the Rantau state seat by-election Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan is unperturbed by allegations connecting him to a series of doubtful luxury property purchases .
Tok Mat stated hurling allegations of impropriety is not surprising in politics ,and that he will probably not retaliate against his accusers.
“I am confident that the voters know how to differentiate between right and wrong,” he added.
According to one allegation, Mohamad broke banking laws by transferring RM10 million via a money changer to purchase an apartment unit in London.
Tok mat said the matter is an old case which had been brought to court before.
“Everyone says that is my house. Please check. I don’t have time to entertain this kind of rumour,” said Tok Mat when met at the Rantau by-election early voting centre at the Sendayan Air Force base here, today.
