The trader who insulted the Sultan apologized to all on his alleged behavior

The trader who was insulting the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in his Facebook page and he was arrested because of leaving a comment insulting the sultan was released at 10 am yesterday.

Datuk Mohd Zakaria Ahmad said the 46-year-old man from Kuantan was freed after being detained for two days at the police headquarters of the Kuantan and Temerloh.

Besides that, there were two men; aged 32 and 36 who were suspects to be engaged in committing criminal menace against the trader were also released on police bail after taking their statements at Kuantan police headquarters.

According to Mohd Zakaria, the investigations on the two men still keep going according to section 506 the Penal Code for a criminal threat.

Both men were arrested last Friday when they were going to the business building of the trader in front of Kuantan because they weren’t happy with the insulting comment left by the trader on the Sultan Abdullah’s Facebook.

At the same time, the trader who insulted Sultan Abdullah apologized to all and regretted his behavior.
