Brazilian court accepted a recommendation from prosecutors to drop the charges against soccer star Neymar due to a lack of evidence.
“There was an amorous relationship,” Prosecutor Estefania Paulin told reporters in Sao Paulo.
The model also did not produce enough evidence including a video allegedly proving Neymar attacked her.
“The police investigator asked her to plug her phone to a computer so she could see the video, but she didn’t want to do that. She also refused to hand over her phone, where later she said it had been stolen,” She added.
The judge will be signing off the decision that had been recommended by the police who conducted the investigation. Neymar is currently in France where he plays for Paris Saint-Germain.
