Nearly 700 people detained in US migration raids

MEXICO CITY: The US Immigration carried out the largest ICE raids in decades as 680 undocumented immigrants detained in a series of major raids at agricultural processing plants in the United States.

The Mexican foreign ministry said 34 of the 122 citizens detained have been released hearings with migration authorities.

Officials said that who met certain conditions, such as pregnant women will be released.

The raid is in line with the Trump Administration’s policy of cracking down on illegal immigrants from Central America and Mexico.
