North Korea’s Kim says missile launch a “solemn warning” to South Korea

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un supervised a test of “new-type tactical guided weapon” on Thursday to demonstrate it power and issue a solemn warning to South Korean “warmongers” and its plan to hold military exercises with the USA.

North Korea made it clear that the recent acquisition of South Korea on US fighter jet is a proof of the country’s hostility to Pyongyang. An act of provocation that will not help alleviate military tension on the Peninsula.

This missile test is the first by North Korea since country’s leaders Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump met in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) last month. The U.S State Department has urged Pyongyang to avoid provocations and resume talks on Denuclearization.
